To all the teens out there as parents we don't want to choose your friends but when you choose the wrong ones to hang out with we have to do something about it to protect you from harm. We want you to be able to experience a life with most of your dreams fulfilled and so we as parents who can see trouble better than you can, we need you to trust us to protect you so you can make your big strides in this world with the least complications necessary.
Most of us, parents, understand that you want your own life and space to do what you want but you too need to understand that we parents are here to guide and protect you the best we know. Because you guys didn't come with a manual telling us what to do we too make mistakes so please just as you want understanding and forgiveness we need it too.
So parents and teens we have to begin working together. Teens we are not against you just allow us to help you and guide you through life. Let's continue communicating it works. Don't give up parents.
